How To Make Infused Apples à la Mode

Apples a la mode

If you're tired of your regular rotation of baked goods and desserts, we've got another fun recipe for you to try infusing at home. This Apples à la Mode was created by our friend Anna Li and only requires a handful of ingredients. It's super easy to make and sure to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Whether you're making it for one or for a crowd of friends, it's simple to multiply the recipe and whip up exactly however much you need.

What is Apples à la Mode?

You've probably seen it on menus at your favorite restaurants, but what is it exactly? It's actually pretty simple! According to Dictionary.com, the culinary term "à la mode" refers to a dessert served or topped with ice cream, and as you might have already guessed, it's a term we borrowed from the French.

While Apple Pie à la Mode is a classic, this infused version skips the pie crust for a lighter, healthier plate you can make on the fly.

What Other Desserts Can You Eat à la Mode?

After you try this recipe, you won't want to stop eating desserts à la mode. Try it with our Organic Brownie Mix, Birthday Pancake & Waffle Mix, or Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix. While Anna Li infuses the whipped cream in the video below, you can add an extra layer of infusion with your finished baked product.
