Infused Whipped Cream
Looking to take your drinks and desserts to a higher level? This infused whipped cream recipe is just what you need. For this recipe, we used our favorite herb, but you can infuse other delicious flavors like lavender, lemon zest, or cinnamon into your whipping cream using LĒVO. It's the perfect way to add a little extra oomph to your whipped topping.
Infusing dairy may seem daunting but it's just as easy as infusing any other liquid. There are two main things you want to focus on: the temperature and the type of dairy that you're using. When infusing dairy, you want to heat it at a low temperature to avoid changing its consistency, color, flavor, and nutrients. We recommend infusing it at 150°. You'll also want to choose dairy that's high in fat so that your herb has something to stick to.
Once you've mastered infusing milk, cream, or other dairies, there's really no limits to what you can turned into an infused treat. We recommend pairing this recipe with coffee and a little bit of our pumpkin spice syrup. It's a gourmet treat that'll make you feel like a kitchen pro!

Instructions for Infusion
Add your coarsely ground herbs to the Power Pod and insert into the reservoir of your machine.
Activate using LĒVO's default settings. Once the activation is complete, give the reservoir some time to cool. Allowing it to cool will help prevent your whipping cream from burning or degrading.
Pro tip: Keeping the lid closed while the reservoir cools down will help keep any smell inside the machine.
Once cooled, add your whipping cream to the reservoir and infuse at 150° for 30 minutes.
Dispense and allow to cool completely in the refrigerator before making your whipped cream.
