Margarita lovers, get ready to elevate your cocktail game! February 22nd is National Margarita Day, and there’s no better way to celebrate than with a Spicy Margarita Recipe that’s as bold as it is delicious. But we’re not just making any spicy margarita—we’re infusing our own jalapeño simple syrup using LĒVO for the ultimate craft cocktail experience.
Why Infuse Your Own Simple Syrup?
Infusing your own ingredients at home gives you complete control over flavor, sweetness, and spice levels. With LĒVO, you can create a perfectly balanced jalapeño-infused simple syrup without the hassle of straining, stovetop simmering, or messy cleanup. Plus, homemade infusions allow you to avoid artificial additives found in store-bought syrups.
The Secret to a Perfect Spicy Margarita
A great spicy margarita is all about balance. You want just the right amount of heat, a hint of sweetness, and that signature citrusy punch. That’s where infused simple syrup comes in.
Instead of muddling fresh jalapeños and risking an inconsistent spice level, we’re making a jalapeño-infused honey simple syrup with LĒVO to give our margarita a smooth, even heat in every sip.
How to Increase the Heat with LĒVO
Want to turn up the spice? Try these methods to pack even more jalapeño flavor into your simple syrup:
Fill the Herb Pod to maximum capacity with sliced jalapeños for a bold, concentrated heat.
Use LĒVO’s Double Pod Method by adding two herb pods filled with jalapeños, ensuring a double-strength infusion for an extra fiery kick.
In this recipe, you'll learn how to make our Jalapeno-Infused Spicy Margarita using LĒVO made jalapeño-infused simple syrup.
