Tried your recipe and it’s great! Worked out exactly like the directions and came out perfect! For the people having problems just follow the instructions closely. I used a funnel and a condiment squeeze bottle and used a pot holder around it to protect my hand from the heat of the bottle. I would say you only have 5 min or so to get the molds filled so it’s best to have everything set up and ready to pour.

I thought I followed the recipe, but when I pulled the tray from the freezer, the coconut oil had separated, making a layer on top. What did I do wrong?

Hi Doug! This can happen if the mixture wasn’t stirred enough to fully emulsify the oil. If you’re using our gummy mix, we recommend stirring a bit longer if making it on the stovetop, or run the second cycle on the Gummy Candy Mixer an additional time to help everything blend evenly. We hope this helps!

Is it possible to make this mixture in the Levo gummy maker? I’d love to have access to a wider variety of flavors than the Levo gummy mixes offer. Don’t get me wrong, the mixes are GREAT. But we’d love to be able to make pineapple, orange, lime, etc – flavors Levo doesn’t offer.

The quantities in this recipe are a bit too large to fit in the Gummy Candy Mixer. However, we do sell unflavored gummy mix and you can add pineapple juice in place of water, etc, to make it your own!

We experimented with our first batch. We did everything right. Used 1 full pack w 4 tbsps water boil and added 4 tbsps oil Mixture got solid very quickly and we couldn’t place in molds almost like taffy. What did we do wrong?
