Take your medicinal flower or hemp and place it into your LEVO herb pod. You don’t have to grind it, but if you do, don’t grind it too finely. You want it to be coarse enough not to seep into your oil. The coarser the herb, the better the infusion.
Place the LEVO herb pod into the reservoir of your LEVO II.
Measure 2 cups of coconut oil. If your coconut oil is still solid, you can use a kitchen scale to measure the 2 cups or 16 ounces.
Place your measured coconut oil into the LEVO II reservoir with your flower. Close the LEVO II lid.
Using the time and temperature calculator on our site, set the temperature on your LEVO II to 160-175 degrees Fahrenheit. Infuse your coconut oil in the LEVO II for 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the time suggested for hemp on the time and temperature calculator.
After using the LEVO herb press to squeeze every last drop of your infused oil out of the flower, pour your warm infused coconut oil into a container.
Set aside ¼ cup of your infused coconut oil.
Be sure the container of your remaining infused coconut oil has a proper seal so that the coconut oil will last a while. Keep your infused coconut oil in your cabinet or freeze it.
Pineapple Gummy Recipe
Place your molds on a cookie sheet and spray the gummy molds with non-stick cooking spray. You can choose any non-stick cooking spray you want. If you don’t want an oily residue on your gummies, opt for coconut oil spray. The spray is simply to make removing the gummies from the molds easier. Gummies absorb hardened coconut oil better than other non-stick cooking oil sprays.
Combine 4 packets of unflavored gelatin in a bowl.
On medium heat, combine ½ cup of pineapple juice, ¼ cup of your infused coconut oil, and ½ teaspoon of lecithin in a small saucepan. Whisk the ingredients, allowing them to melt and come together.
Continue whisking, and allow the mixture to bubble. Increase the heat under the saucepan to medium-high. Continue whisking.
Once the mixture transitions from bubbling to boiling, add the unflavored gelatin to the mixture in the saucepan while continuing to whisk. Allow the unflavored gelatin to mix in completely.
Add the 6 oz. of flavored gelatin to the saucepan and continue to whisk the mixture.
Continue whisking the mixture for one minute on medium-high heat until the mixture is completely smooth.
Once the mixture is completely smooth, turn the heat under the saucepan to low and continue whisking. The mixture shouldn’t be boiling, just bubbling.
While the mixture is still bubbling, start pouring the mixture into yourLEVO gummy and candy molds. You’re going to have to work quickly here because the gelatin in the mixture will thicken and separate rapidly. If some separation occurs while you’re filling your molds, whisk the mixture more.
After you’ve poured all of your mixture into your molds, place the molds into the freezer or the fridge for 20 minutes to an hour. Allow the gummies to harden.
Once your gummies have set and hardened, remove them from the molds and place them in a container. Keep refrigerated. As long as you maintain proper storage, you’ll be able to enjoy these pineapple gummies for up to nine months.
