How to Make Vitamin C Gummies

DIY Vitamin C and Flower Infused Gummies

Ingredients

Utensils

• A gummy mold 
• A large saucepan
• A large stirring bowl
• A stirring spoon

Gummy Ingredients

• 4 tbsp of gelatin powder (unflavored or flavored)
• 1 cup of orange juice (or grape, cranberry, etc.)
• 1 teaspoon of Vitamin C powder or Liquid Vitamin C
• 1 teaspoon of lecithin

Note: You’ll need to use lecithin because it is a natural preservative and emulsifier. That means it will work to bind and stabilize your infused oil with the water in the juice.

• 2-3 teaspoons of homemade infused oil

You can also add optional ingredients to customize Vitamin C gummies. Add 1-2 tablespoons of honey, or a half teaspoon of vanilla extract or another organic extract like orange to customize flavoring. You can even add probiotic powder or some of your other favorite supplements to this recipe.

Preparing the Infused Gelatin Mixture

1. Mix 1 cup of preferred juice, lecithin, and gelatin in a large saucepan, and heat until gelatin is well-dissolved in the juice with constant stirring.

2. Once the mixture has completely cooled, pour it into the large mixing bowl, and then stir in the Vitamin C powder.
3. Add 2-3 teaspoons of botanically-infused oil. Stir again.
4. Carefully pour the gummy liquid into the molds.
5. Refrigerate the gummies for 4 hours.
