For a decadent twist your pup is sure to love, infuse bacon or duck fat into this hemp dog treat recipe.
Ingredients
- 1 ripe banana (the softer the better)
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/4 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 cup organic peanut butter* (*avoid brands containing xylitol, an artificial sweetener that is extremely toxic to dogs)
- 1 tablespoon hemp-infused oil of choice (coconut oil, bacon or duck fat)
- 1 teaspoon of honey (optional)
Ingredients
Makes 50 small bone shaped treats with approx 2mg non-psychoactive hemp each, depending on the potency of your hemp flower. Make sure you buy from a source with precise info and lab results to avoid mystery dosing!

Activate
- Pack 3 grams of dried hemp flower into Herb Pod.
- Begin activate cycle at default setting of 240 F for 30 minutes.
Infuse
- Upon completion of Activate cycle, ddd 1/2 cup of duck fat, bacon fat, or coconut oil.
- Begin cycle at 160 F for 2.5 hours.
- Dispense in a glass jar with lid.
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 F.
- Combine all ingredients in the bowl of a stand mixer with the paddle attachment until it comes together in a ball (around 2-3 minutes).
- Preheat oven to 350 F.
- Roll out dough to around 1/4 inch on a lightly floured surface and cut into desired shapes with cookie cutters.
- Arrange on a nonstick cookie sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes.
- Allow ten minutes to cool. Keep in an airtight container for up to two weeks.
