Golden Pineapple Gummies
If you’re a regular edibles connoisseur, you might recognize “Golden Pineapple” as a flower strain. You got it. Golden Pineapple is said to produce a creative, uplifting experience, so if you’re hoping to finish that art project, while feeling like you’re on the beach, it’s perfect. That being said, these gummies are delicious using any kind of flower, so don’t be discouraged if you can’t get your hands on any Golden Pineapple.
At LĒVO, we’re all about ease and happy taste buds. One of the best parts about consuming flower in gummy form is that you’re not inhaling any smoke, so you won’t damage your precious lungs. Gummies are discreet, don’t require any bulky paraphernalia, and taste great (goodbye stinky breath!).
If you’re reading this and feel confused (What’s LĒVO? What’s flower?) that’s completely understandable! LĒVO is the innovative kitchen device that makes herbal infusions, and homemade edibles, a breeze. Flower is that special herb that gives you an *elevated* feeling, if ya know *wink* what we mean. Learn more about getting yourself a LĒVO, activating or decarboxylating your flower and cooking with flower, so you can fulfill all your edible wishes.
The Secret to Easy Gummies
Unlike most gummies recipes online, this recipe is crazy easy. That’s because we use Paracanna’s Zen Zingers gummy kits for the gummy base. Say goodbye to homemade gummies-fails. The kits take the fuss out of making gummies, so you don’t need to be any kind of genius to get the measurements just right.
Essentially, all you need to do is add flower-infused oil to your Paracanna mix. That’s where LĒVO comes in! LĒVO helps you make the infused oil, so you get all those elevated effects from the Golden Pineapple flower strain. We recommend trying out our gummy-making bundle to get started. You'll get two gummy mixes and two gummy trays. Don't forget to use LĒVO Herb Blocks to store your extra infusion once you're done infusing.
Paracanna gummies come in an array of flavors, including raspberry, cherry, peach, cola, and mango. For this recipe, we’ve added pineapple juice to the mango Paracanna gummy mix – it’s that simple!
Why Pineapple Juice?
Pineapple juice is rich in nutrients, such as vitamins C and B6, manganese and copper. In fact, just one glass of juice contains enough vitamin C for most people’s daily needs! The tropical juice has also been linked to reducing inflammation, largely due to the protein-digesting enzyme group it contains, called bromelain. The nutritious benefits are a pretty great bonus of this gummy recipe, if you ask us!
Pineapple juice helps us achieve that yummy tropical pineapple-mango flavor, but it also gives the final gummies a rich golden color. If you don’t have pineapple juice, apple or watermelon could work wonderfully as a substitute.
MCT Oil or Coconut Oil?
The Paracanna gummy kit recommends either MCT oil or coconut oil. But which is best?
MCT oil: Generally made from coconut or palm kernel oil, medium-chain triglyceride is a favorite for followers of the keto diet, for its supposed ability to help burn fat. This is because MCT can help your body make ketones, which may be a great carb-free energy source for brain function. You can purchase your own MCT oil, made by Carrington Farms and get mixing.
Coconut oil: Another favorite of lovers of the keto diet! Coconut oil is rich in fatty acids and contains a cholesterol called HDL, which is viewed to be a healthy type (not all cholesterol is ‘bad’!). We’ve partnered with Carrington Farms and recommend their Organic Virgin Unrefined Coconut Oil for all your LĒVO infusion needs.
