Dorito Chicken Tenders

Try these Dorito Chicken Tenders if you’d like a spicy snack-inspired twist on your favorite, easy chicken dinner. The crushed Dorito breading is mouthwatering, and the best part is the botanically-enriched Ranch sauce for dipping!

You can infuse different ingredients for this dish, but the following recipe will feature infused buttermilk. Learn more about how to infuse milk here. This recipe is the perfect mix of junk food flavoring and herbal therapeutic benefits that promote immune health and cognitive functioning.

Your choice of herb or flower strain will affect the aroma, effects, and taste of ranch dressing, so it will be unlike any other dipping sauce you have had before!

Decarboxylating Raw Flower with LĒVO

Before you begin the steps for this recipe, plan the time it will take to infuse the buttermilk for this recipe. Before you infuse the buttermilk, you must first decarboxylate the raw flower.

We recommend the default “Activate” cycle on LĒVO machines. Make sure the pod protector is at the bottom of your herb pod, then add coarsely ground or broken up flower or shake to the pod, pop the lid on, and place a pod or two inside your LĒVO. You don’t need the magnetic stirrer for this cycle, and you should not have any liquid in the reservoir for this step. Then press Activate and Start. Your LĒVO will warm up and complete an optimized Decarb cycle.

Infused Buttermilk Recipe

To infuse the buttermilk for the ranch dipping sauce, you will need 1 cup of buttermilk and 3.5 grams of the decarboxylated flower per Power Pod. If you have two Pods, you can infuse 7 grams per cup of buttermilk. You can always adjust the recipe’s proportions in case you want to use more or less flower. You can easily control the potency of each serving.

You don't want to overheat the milk as it can impact the flavor and nutrients or cause it to burn. Keep the temperature below 165°F when infusing dairy. We recommend infusing for 45-60 minutes between 150-165°F.
