From culinary experts to holistic healers, edible lovers and beyond, the LĒVO Love Club community is what makes our small business so knowledgable and special.
As part of a recurring series, we’re shining a spotlight on infüsiasts to share their tips, tricks & infusion journeys. For the second time, we talked to Teshauna, the multifaceted creator of Wholethyme Kitchen and Halfway Healing. We are so glad to have her back!
"Since we last spoke, I feel way more grounded, at ease and at peace. It feels good to let my creations come about organically without any forced energy behind them."
Read our second interview with Teshauna below!
Happy Valentine’s Day, Teshauna! Any updates you’d like to share since your last Infusiast Spotlight with us?
Happy Valentine’s Day!
While I enjoy loving myself and my loved ones every month, there is something about February that instantly feels as if I’m in a romcom movie for the next 28 days lol. Since we last spoke, I feel way more grounded, at ease and at peace. Ever since I decided to slow my lifestyle down, the habits that I am building have positively influenced how I approach my creations, relationships and entrepreneurship. I’ve noticed that I am reflecting nature- the trees, the botanicals and how they grow at their own pace without any sense of rushing or urgency. It feels good to let my creations come about organically without any forced energy behind them.
On the business side of things, I’ve been developing new recipes for our email list subscribers at Wholethyme Kitchen along with a new course offering that will be available in the spring. This offering is for those who are interested in learning how to prevent common diseases & illnesses by preparing affordable plant based meals, integrating mindfulness and movement into their routines and living slowly. We are also preparing for our herbal tea restock on 2/14/23 so be on the lookout for that, too!
Since our Instagram Live Event is celebrating Valentine’s, do you have any homemade gifts you like to make using your LEVO for the special loved ones in your life?
Absolutely! Infused homemade shea butters are still my go to gift for my loved ones. There’s something about the soft, velvety texture that feels like love when you rub it into your skin. This season, I’ve been infusing with rose petals and rosehips to nourish my skin as I move through the winter. Homemade gifts are an essential part of my life because they give me the chance to pour my love directly into whatever it is that I am creating.
For our Valentine’s Live Event on Instagram, we’re making Infused Chocolate! What inspired this recipe?
The inspiration behind this recipe is chocolate covered strawberries! For me, the moment I hear Valentines Day I instantly think of the Fun Dips with the powder & stick and chocolate covered strawberries. The nostalgia brings me back to middle school when we would bring candy to school that day lol. I wanted to put a twist on a simple classic to get the lovers in the kitchen for Valentine’s day. The recipe can be made in less than 30 minutes and with less than five ingredients! How much easier can we get? :)
We noticed you used a delicious blend of herbs and spices for the infusion, what inspired you to use these ingredients for this recipe?
I enjoy combining adaptogens like maca and ashwagandha with cacao because it compliments the flavor well while adding some health benefits. Adapotgens help the body combat stress and fatigue. When I make hot cocoa, I add them in so I figured they would work well with the strawberries too!
