I’ve infused my flower and went to add the 16 oz of butter. I’m out of space. I’m using the Levo II. Have I missed a step? Are you supposed to melt the butter before adding? Help!

The butter doesn’t need to be melted. You can add it as is!

I would like to infuse butter with garlic and fresh summer savory that has flowered. Do I dry and then activate or just activate. My savory has been cut and laying on the counter in my garage for about a week. When do I add the garlic?
1. 1. Drying: Since your summer savory has been cut and laying out for a week, it should be sufficiently dried. No need to activate it. 2. Infusing: Add the dried summer savory to your butter. Infuse the butter at 165°F for 3-6 hours. 3. Adding Garlic: You can add the garlic at the beginning of the infusion process along with the summer savory. This will allow the garlic to infuse its flavor into the butter as well.———

When activating should the herb be in the pod? after it’s activated do we put the herb in the bottom with the butter. Yes I working with THC. How do you activate oils.

LEVO Oil Infusion, Inc. replied:
Great question! The herb should remain in the pods during all cycles. 😊

What is the best way to infuse fresh rosemary into buttermilk?
Activate it for how long and at what temperature

LEVO Oil Infusion, Inc. replied:
Great question! Rosemary does not need to be activated. You will instead dry the rosemary at 115°F for 3 hours. After the dry cycle has ended, you’ll add your buttermilk and infuse for 30-60 minutes at 165°F. We can’t wait to hear how your rosemary buttermilk turns out!

My first time doing thc infused butter. I feel like I’m missing a step. Am i supposed to activate it first without adding the butter sticks? Once I activate then add butter and infuse?

LEVO Oil Infusion, Inc. replied:
Hi Janira!
Thank you for reaching out, and congratulations on your first flower-infused butter adventure! You’re on the right track – before adding the butter sticks, activating the flower first is essential. We recommend using the ACTIVATE cycle at 240ºF/116ºC for 30 minutes. During this step, you should not add liquid like butter or oils to the reservoir.
Once you’ve completed the ACTIVATE cycle, it’s time to infuse your butter. Add the butter sticks to the reservoir and start your INFUSE cycle. You’ll soon have beautifully infused butter for your culinary creations! 😋
