The Easy Pour Lid definitely helps guide the slurry into the molds, and it’s a noticeable improvement over trying to pour straight from the mixer’s open top. The spout gives you a cleaner, more controlled stream, especially when you’re working with small mold cavities or trying to avoid stringy drips.
That said, the lid isn’t completely mess‑proof. On slower pours, the slurry tends to dribble down the front edge of the lid and down the body of the machine. Once I picked up the pace and poured more decisively, it behaved better — but there’s a learning curve. It’s not a deal‑breaker, just something to be aware of if you’re expecting a perfectly clean, zero‑drip experience.
Overall, the lid does make the process easier and more accurate, but it’s not magic. It’s a helpful accessory that improves workflow, especially when you’re filling multiple molds quickly, but you’ll still want a towel nearby for the occasional runaway drip.

I absolutely love these molds. It makes calculating dosage easier which is convenient, accurate, making consistent results, and they are adorable and fun to eat. I just pour my mixture on top and use a spatula or butter knife to fill it in, tap it on the counter, and voila! I always end up with a snack for my "hard work" that I just peel right of as I pop them out. They are super easy to clean and won't retain any smells from previous gummies. You could probably experiment with garlic infused gummies and it won't leave a trace 🤔
