Salty and sweet combinations are always tasty, and peanut butter and chocolate are incredible when made with infused coconut oil. Peanut butter is also a great energy source, and chocolate contains valuable antioxidants.
Peanut butter is a superfood that is rich in fiber, antioxidants, nutrients, and good fats. Niacin, folate, and Vitamin E are just some of the many vitamins and minerals found in peanut butter. Research studies have pointed to peanut butter’s potential to reduce the risk of cancer and diabetes.
Chocolate also offers many benefits. Powerful flavonoids promote brain health, reduce inflammation, and maintain healthy cholesterol levels. It’s generally considered that the higher the level the cacao, the better with 72% being a great starting point.
And don’t forget all the good that the infused coconut oil brings! Coconut oil has anti-inflammatory properties, increases metabolism, and supports skin health.

Decarbing Your Flower and Infusing Oil
Decarboxylation involves heating raw medicinal flower so that parts of the plant responsible for that elevated feeling are turned on, or “Activated”. It causes the release of carbon dioxide and the formation of new molecular structures. This is why eating raw flower that has not been decarbed will not produce the intended effect.
To infuse the coconut oil needed to make this recipe, follow LĒVO’s easy directions for decarboxylating raw flower and infusing the oil. Allocate enough time to complete these steps before starting the recipe. You will need the following ingredients: 7-14 grams of raw flower to 2 cups of oil if using LĒVO II, and at least 14 grams of flower to about 2 cups of oil if using LĒVO C. LĒVO C goes up to one ounce of flower to 4 cups of oil or butter.
Note: You will have more oil than you need for this recipe, but it’s good to have additional infused oil in the refrigerator, just make sure you label it.
To decarboxylate your raw flower using LĒVO II, fill 1-2 Power Pods with crumbled flower, broken apart by hand, and not too finely ground. Make sure the silicone pod protectors are on the bottom of each pod. Do the same with the Jumbo Pod if using LĒVO C, except that LĒVO C doesn’t use a pod protector. Don’t push the flower into the pods tightly, you want air and oil to flow freely through the herbs.
To decarb with LĒVO II, with the pods in place, gently close the lid and press Activate and Start. We think the default setting is great. Leave the pods in during the Warming Up mode.
To decarb with LĒVO C, the only difference is that the Activate mode is pre-set and not customizable. With the pod hanging in place and the lid on, set to Activate, press start, and run the cycle once for a half-filled pod, and run it twice for a full pod. In between cycles of a full Jumbo Pod with LĒVO C, stir the flower around with a knife or fork to make sure it’s mixed up. Then put the lids back on and run the cycle the second time.
The LĒVO Difference
There are many benefits to using a LĒVO II home infusion machine. It offers, in one machine, an easier way to dry, activate, and infuse herbs than the conventional method of heating flower in the oven and then infusing it with an appropriate carrier oil.
A LĒVO II or LĒVO C home infusion machine is essential if you frequently plan to make herb-infused foods. Home infusers allow you to program and adjust the most effective heat and duration settings for specific strain and herb profiles. Some compounds are more heat-sensitive than others, so adapting the settings allows greater control over potency and far less waste.
