Homemade Infused Cocoa Butter Lotion
- 1 cup of cocoa butter
- 1 cup of infused coconut oil
- ½ cup of sweet almond oil
- Jars or containers with lids
- 14 grams of dried flowers
- Fine strainer
If you do have a LĒVO II Infusion Machine, you can just set your machine up and decarb to your liking. (If you don’t continue with the method below).
- First, you'll need to decarboxylate your flowers and then infuse your oils.
- Grind and decarb the flowers in the oven preheated at 250° F for 25 minutes
- Melt the coconut or almond oil in a pan and add the decarbed flowers.
- Infuse on low heat for 1-2 hours.
- Strain plant materials through a strainer.
- Melt the remaining oils and butter in a saucepan until completely liquified.
- Blend all the ingredients together in a bowl and then set in the freezer for approximately 20 minutes.
- Once the mixture has hardened but not completely solidified, whip the ingredients using an electric beater until you have made it fluffy and light.
- Store in a glass jar or plastic tub with a lid.
