Bath scrubs are one of those things we catch ourselves ogling over but never feel like we should spend money on. So, we decided to figure out how to make our own. It turned out to be so easy, it felt ridiculous that anyone would ever not make their own!

When you make your own bath scrub once, you'll never go back to buying it from the store. Follow our lavender bath scrub recipe and you'll see what we mean!
1/2 cup coconut oil
1/2 cup salt (Note: Coarse sea salt is great for use in the bath tub as it dissolves and adds to the water, and fine sea salt is a little gentler with a texture more like wet sand, which is great for scrubbing areas with lots of dead skin, and lastly epsom salt is another great option for use in the tub as it is known to soften skin)
1 tbsp. oil of your choice (vitamin E oil, olive oil, almond oil, etc.)
If you want to make some extra infused lavender oil, it can be used for everything from a skin moisturizer to an add-in to your summer lemonade!
Add coconut oil to LĒVO reservoir
Your coconut oil does not have to be liquified at this point — LĒVO takes care of that for you!
Set temperature to 175°F and time to 1 hour and 30 minutes
Add sea salt and oil of your choice
Repeat until salt is even throughout oil
Store in a cool place out of sunlight. If the coconut oil happens to melt, simply reheat.
I love everything lavender, and this recipe is one of my favorites. It also saves me a lot of money, and I can control how strong the fragrance is.
