Everything There Is To Know About The LĒVO II Infusion Machine

One question we hear often is, "what does the LĒVO machine do?"

When it comes to at-home herbal infusion, there's a lot of misinformation and confusion floating around the internet— even more-so when it comes to LĒVO and how it fits into the picture.

Luckily, we see your questions and we're here to give you answers! In this article, you'll learn everything you need to know about the LĒVO II Infusion Machine; from how it works to how to clean it. Let's dig into the basics!

What Does The LĒVO Machine Do?

What does the LEVO machine do

Picture this: a coffee machine, but for turning oil, butter, and other liquids in herb-infused oil, butter, and more. The herbs you put into the machine will transform your liquid into something new and carry over the properties, flavor, and benefits from any herb (yes, any herb — even magical ones) of your choosing.

The options for what you can infuse ranges from fats like oil and butter to sweets like simple syrup and honey or even milk. Think flavor combinations like herb-infused butter, vanilla-infused almond milk, and lavender-infused honey, to name a few.

Use your infusions to whip up homemade gummies and brownies, pastas, body and skincare... There's so much you can make with your #LEVOmade infusions, your possibilities are endless.

How Does The LĒVO Machine Work?

When it comes to activating the properties, flavors, or health benefits of any type of herb or spice, you want to use the exact temperature and time to do so, and that's exactly what LĒVO does.

With LĒVO's Dry and Activate settings, you can heat your herbs to exactly the temperature they need to be to get the nutritional and flavor benefits from them.

Drying your garden-fresh herbs first — let's use rosemary in this example — will help extend the shelf life of a rosemary-infused olive oil, while Activating your herbs will bring out the psychoactive or pain-relieving effects of a certain magical flower.

Afterwards, you can use the infuse setting to heat your liquids and infuse your herbs into them. Again, the precise temperature and time controls let you have full control over how strong or potent your infusion is and what you get out of it. There's no guesswork involved which is what makes it so much easier than old school infusion methods. We even have a handy Time and Temp Calculator to help you get started.

The end result is a clean tasting infusion. LĒVO doesn't pulverize your herbs and instead uses a gentle process. This means that there's less chlorophyll and plant matter in your end result, leaving it tasting much better than if you made your infusion on the stove!

How Do You Clean The LĒVO Machine?

The cleanup of the LĒVO machine is just as easy as it is to infuse. All of the removable parts are dishwasher safe. Watch the video above for a more in depth how-to.

The greatest part is that unlike other infusion methods, there's absolutely no straining involved, which means less spillage, cleaning, and wasted product.

Pro tip: You can use a microfiber cloth to remove any fingerprints on the outside of your machine.

Kimberly Misch calendar_today

Please clue me in as to where to find specific temperatures for drying and activating flower? Then, a specific temperature range for infusing butter? Lots of information, thank you. But, is there a quick reference guide?
LEVO Oil Infusion, Inc. replied:
Our herb and oil calculator is a helpful tool that shows our
recommended infusion time and temperatures! We’ve linked it here:

By default, we recommend using the DRY cycle at 115ºF/ 46ºC for 3 hours and we
recommend using the ACTIVATE cycle at 240ºF/116ºC for 30 minutes. You can
read more on the Dry and Activate cycles here:
