If you’re intentional about finding your chill, seek a bathtub immediately. Our friend, chef + mama Christine Flynn (aka @theyamburglar) of iQ Food Co likes to unwind with homemade bath bombs. With her LEVO II and her pair of twin daughters, she created a kid-friendly recipe that is perfect for winding down even the littlest of humans!
These bath bombs are so easy to make, we love how gentle and calming they are for any bathtime routine. For adults, Christine suggests adding a few drops of CBD oil to the mix. However, she believes any botanical would be ideal for the batch and recommends using whatever you have on hand, such as, lavender, thyme, lemongrass or even tea. For this recipe, Christine used local chamomile.
Chamomile is commonly known for it’s calming benefits, so it’s great for relaxing muscles. Its calming effects are said to be attributed to an antioxidant called apigenin, which is found in abundance in chamomile tea. So if you’re ready to wind down, let’s put that bath bomb to work!
